Our co-founders, Patrick Johnson, and Luke Hanley, combine their expertise in marketing, design and construction to provide a seamless service from initial consultation to court completion. Based in Austin, and serving surrounding Suburbs and Hill Country, Pickle Build Pros is on a mission to democratize access to pickleball by bringing the court right to your doorstep.

  • Luke Hanley

    Head of Development

    As co-founder of Pickle Build Pros, Luke combines his passion for construction and pickleball. Originally from St. Louis, he earned a degree in Construction Design from Auburn University before gaining hands-on experience at Beck, a commercial general contractor, where he specialized in post-tension concrete. Having grown up playing pickleball with his family, Luke is dedicated to using his expertise to grow the sport—delivering top-tier courts while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

    Head of Business Development

    Originally from New Jersey, Patrick’s entrepreneurial spirit emerged early when he started a landscaping business in Boston. With a background in tech—most recently in sports tech—he brings a strategic approach to business development, branding, and design. His ability to merge innovation with execution makes him a key force in growing Pickle Build Pros and delivering top-tier experiences for clients.

  • Ethin Tolson

    Construction Foreman

    Ethin takes construction plans and turns them into reality. Born and raised in Round Rock, he brings over 16 years of hands-on experience in excavation and construction across the Central Texas terrain. With a background in owning and operating a ranch land clearing and excavation company, Ethin combines expertise with ingenuity, ensuring every project is executed with precision and efficiency.

    Jack supports the team and clients from multiple angles. On social, he grows our network and maintains critical relationships by engaging with Central Texas communities. Working with clients directly, Jack translates needs to concrete plans for our construction team.
